Gran Via is one of the most beautiful streets in Europe. Its incomparable architecture, sometimes the setting for film shoots, its shops and its cafes make it the perfect place to stroll as a couple.
And very close to Gran Vía, we can find the Temple of Debod, which is perhaps the best place in Madrid to watch the sunset. The Temple of Debod is an Egyptian temple from the 2nd century BC, installed in the Parque del Cuartel de la Montaña, near the Plaza de España, donated by the Egyptian government to the Spanish State.
Parks are the place par excellence for lovers. Madrid has numerous parks, among which Retiro Park stands out, one of the main tourist attractions of the city. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2021, along with the Paseo del Prado and the Jerónimos neighborhood, forming part of the so-called Landscape of Light.
